French fries. Best when hot. No good if I'm sitting around for too long. And because you can't deny that I'm amazing.

Each individual brain and body experiences the journey differently, yet it has the power to build and create community and make us all feel connected.

If I was a food, I'd be:
A dirty martini - strong, simple, benefits from a good shake, and it feels damn good at the time but you may feel the aftermath tomorrow.

My favorite part about fitness is:
The time it allows me to focus on myself and nothing else and shut everything off for just a little while.

If I was a food, I'd be:
A smoothie because you can throw a bunch of shit at me and I can be/do whatever you want me to be. It’s not the greatest recipe everyday… sometimes I'm a hit or miss, but I always have everything you need.

My favorite part about fitness is:
It can be anything it needs to be for what your body and mind need on that day. One day it’s a high intensity 45 minute cardio class. Another day maybe it’s a 30 minute walk, or 20 minutes of yoga. It doesn’t need to fit in a specific box and because there are so many ways to be ‘fit’, it is accessible to anyone.  

If I was a food, I'd be:
A lemon. Because I’m pocket sized & love to add a little zest to people’s lives. :)

My favorite part about fitness is:
Smiling. No matter what else is going on, I can't help but break into a smile midway through a workout. Stepping into the role of an instructor, I look forward to helping others let their smiles shine even in the hardest moments.

If I was a food, I'd be:
A charcuterie board. I'm sweet, salty, super cheesy, and I'm here to please the entire room.

I love the way I feel after completing a workout. I’m proud of myself, endorphins are flowing and I’m feeling good!

A slice of pepperoni pizza. No matter how bad your day is, you can count on me to make it better!
